Getting to Baraboo

The nearest major airport is Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) in Madison, WI, about 45 minutes from Baraboo.

Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Chicago Midway (MDW) are about 3 hours away and often have cheaper flights. Milwaukee (MKE) is about 2.5 hours away.

A car is recommended for getting around the area. Rental cars are available at all airports.

Where to Stay

Fairfield Inn & Suites, Baraboo:

About 10 minutes from the park. Free breakfast and an indoor pool. We have a room block with discounted rates reserved for guests (July 15-19, 2026).

Camping at Devil's Lake:

The park has three campgrounds (Quartzite, Northern Lights, and Ice Age) with over 400 sites total, including electric and non-electric options for tents and RVs. All sites must be reserved in advance - no walk-ups. July is peak season and fills up fast, so book as early as possible. Reservations open 11 months ahead.

Note: every vehicle entering the park needs a Wisconsin State Park admission sticker ($13 resident / $16 non-resident daily).

The Venue

Our celebration will be at The Gathering Place at Red Oak inside Devil's Lake State Park, Baraboo, WI.
